Regional Test Center

Southern Technical Institute Pinellas Park Campus is contracted with Prometric to provide a Regional Test Center for Florida Certified Nursing Assistant exam. This site is available for ANY student, regardless of where you attended your CNA training. Prometric has entered into this agreement with STI to use our facility to deliver the written (computer-based) and skills testing elements of the state certification exam for nursing assistants.

If you wish to take your Florida Nursing Assistant exam at Southern Technical Institute Pinellas Park Campus, simply check “Regional Test Center” for your testing option when you submit your application through Prometric. All applications can be submitted online at www.prometric.com/nurseaide/fl. Under the Regional Test Center, you can choose from the drop down menu to select PINFMP as your test site. Prometric will subsequently schedule your CNA exam at an upcoming available date at Southern Technical Institute Pinellas Park.

Southern Technical Institute only rents out the space and has no direct information or knowledge of the Nurse Evaluators, Test Schedules and/or Rosters. If you are already scheduled to take an exam at the Southern Technical Institute Regional Test Center and have questions or need assistance regarding your exam, you must contact Prometric at (888) 277-3500.

The Regional Test Center at Southern Technical Institute offers the following for your comfort:

• Spacious waiting room
• Cozy computer lab with 5 testing computers for the written portion of the exam
• Clinical Testing Lab that consists of 2 hospital beds (one bed used solely for mannequin skills), bedside cabinets and over-the-bed tables. The room also has a handwashing sink and a functioning flushing toilet.
